What does it cost to have parquet laid?
That depends on the area, laying method, substrate and material. Our cost calculator gives a ballpark figure per m². You receive the binding quote from vetted floor layers in your region.
Floating or glued?
Floating parquet is quicker to lay and easier to replace. Glued parquet is quieter underfoot and conducts the heat of underfloor heating better.
Is parquet suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, especially fully glued engineered parquet. A suitable wood species and correct preparation of the substrate are important.
Can I choose the parquet myself?
Yes. In the HGC showrooms you can see wood species and finishes and get advice.
