What does a renovation in Zurich cost?
That depends mainly on the scope, condition and finish standard. A medium-sized bathroom as a complete renovation costs roughly CHF 25'000 to 40'000, a complete interior renovation of a house roughly CHF 2'800 to 4'700 per m². Does my renovation in Zurich need a building permit?
Extensions, additional storeys and changes to the façade, use or load-bearing components usually require a building application. A bathroom or kitchen without structural work usually does not. The municipality decides which procedure applies; in the city of Zurich, the Office for Building Permits. We clarify this in advance and take on the building permit application.
How long does a renovation take?
Depending on the scope, between a few weeks and several months. A bathroom can be renewed in around four weeks; a gut renovation of a house takes 8 to 12 months in our Zurich projects. If a building permit is needed, the procedure is added.
